Spring, the sweet spring, is the year’s pleasant king;

Then blooms each thing, then maids dance in a ring,

Cold doth not sting, the pretty birds do sing.

-寫法:每一段都是大寫首字母

-逗號可以分割句子,比較隨意

-doth, does的老式寫法;描述冬天還不太冷用cold does not sting

-maids:現在是家庭仕女,以前就是沒有結婚的女孩或做過愛的女人

The palm and may make country houses gay,

Lambs frisk and play, the shepherds pipe all day.

And we hear aye birds tune their merry lay.
